Tami’s Floral Expressions Reports Another Attack By Vandals, The Third In As Many Months
In the last three months, the downtown flower and gift shop has been the victim of theft, vandalism, and other criminal mischief on a regular basis. The most recent act was perhaps the most destructive and traumatizing for this longtime village retailer. Latex house paint was thrown on the storefront in an attempt to block security cameras, and eggs were smashed about the front walk. Flower pot pedestals were stolen which were filled with decorative plants.
Its not the first time in the last few months that Tami’s has had raw eggs thrown at the building or their pedestals and flowers vandalized. Last weekend the criminals moved the pedestals to the back of the building(alley behind Hart’s Jewelry and Fisher’s Pharmacy), stole the plants and left a mess. It’s not just hard for the dedicated staff at Tami’s to understand but it has forced them to adopt new procedures and likely invest in more security.

Early Friday, Tami’s posted an online message:
” This is what my building looked like this AM when we arrived! We love our little town and work so hard to make things look beautiful. We are so saddened by this vandalism
