Pennsylvania State Police continue to investigate a deadly ATV crash in Potter County. It happened at 5:11 p.m. Sunday on Pushersiding Road in Bingham Township.
Dead is 21-year-old Christian E. Hellriegel of Barto, PA (Berks County). He was a passenger on a 2009 Polaris Sportsman 800, which was operated by 25-year-old Collin M. Patterson, also of Barto.
State Police Investigator Matthew Baux said Patterson sustained suspected serious injuries and was flown to Guthrie Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre. Troopers said the ATV failed to negotiate a curve, traveled down an embankment and struck a tree. Both men were ejected from the machine.
