Roseanna B. Tait, 85, of 85 South Street, passed away on Friday, March 5, 2021 at Jones Memorial Hospital surrounded by family. She was born October 4, 1935 in Belmont, the daughter of the late Carlo P. and Violet (Lewis) Biancuzzo. On September 10, 1955 in Wellsville she married Lawrence Tait, who predeceased her on October 6, 2005.

She was raised in Belmont, graduated from Belmont Central School, and attended Bryant and Stratton Business Institute. She was formerly employed at Rochester Gas and Electric Corporation for 41 years, retiring in 1994.

She is survived by: two sisters, Josephine and Felecia Biancuzzo of Belmont; a sister-in-law Deborah Biancuzzo of Wellsville, several nieces and nephews including, Catherine (K.J.) Spinks, Stephen (Lynn) Biancuzzo, Daniel Biancuzzo and Andrew (Adriane) Biancuzzo; two great-nieces, Andrea (Jeremy) Niece, and Alyssa (Brent) Cox; four great-nephews, Vinson Biancuzzo, Tobias and Joshua Spinks, and Parker Biancuzzo, several great-great nieces and nephews, several cousins; and special friends, John & Joan Rahr, Michael Whitney, and Richard Rahr.

With much gratitude, the family thanks Roasanna’s beloved caregivers; Cathy Kaiser, Jamie Learn, Cheri Wagner, Danielle Learn, Ilissa Panburn and Lisa Milne.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by: a brother, John J. Biancuzzo,  a sister, Theresa Biancuzzo, a sister-in-law, Andrea Biancuzzo, and special friends, Victor and Dolores Whitney.

Friends are invited to call on Tuesday, March 9, 2021 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the J.W. Embser Son Funeral Home, 17 Schuyler Street in Belmont. The funeral will be Wednesday, March 10, at 11:00 am in the funeral home, with Reverend Jon Francisco presiding. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
