Santa and Mrs. Claus were at it again, this time riding around the village of Wellsville on a fire truck on Saturday.
Santa said 2020 was a tough Christmas with a lot of Zoom meetings with kids, so he is doing everything possible to see children in 2021 and find out what they want for Christmas.
Thanks to deputized elf Billy Day III, the Claus family traveled the village streets from 8:30 a.m. until after noon.
They waved at kids on porches, stopped and handed out candy canes and even checked on some adults.

Assisting on the ride were Jon and Melisa Nickerson, but once again, we never seem to see them in the same place as Mr. and Mrs. Claus. Talk about camera-shy people …
