John stopped for a “hot” and to see artist friend Eric Jones at the Fassett Greenspace

Main Street Wellsville is alive with local celebrities today!! While local artist and world record setting pumpkin carver Eric Jones was at the Fassett Greenspace working on a 1700lb gourd, WNY icon John Kucko walked out of the Texas Hot. Kucko had this to say as he downed a famous Texas Hot and walked down Main Street:
Heaven on Earth in Wellsville: Hard to imagine it took me THIS long in 2026 to enjoy The Texas Hot in beautiful Wellsville, NY—been a bit busy. This family run business dates back to 1921 and the loaded “dogs” are fabulous! Everything else is good too! I would drive in nasty snow to get my snow shots here in this area and have a delicious trio of loaded dogs for breakfast. Place is fantastic! Family run since November of 1921 when they opened. Indeed, it’s an icon!
