ACCORD announces major funding from the Health Foundation

Gooch-Christman: Funding is “very rare and so impactful”

From ACCORD,

ACCORD has been selected to receive $100,000 in grant funding for general operating support from the Health Foundation for Western & Central New York.

“We are so grateful for the ongoing support our agency has received from the Health Foundation. This type of funding, for general operations, is very rare and so impactful during these uncertain times”, says Lesley Gooch-Christman, ACCORD’s Executive Director.

Christman adds, “This award additionally will provide capacity building through individualized coaching and skill development, that will strengthen our ability to understand and meet the needs in our community and continue to serve as a reliable, trusted connection to resources that support stability and growth.

We plan to be here for as long as we are needed and making a positive difference in people’s lives.

The Health Foundation for Western & Central New York listens and responds by offering meaningful support and resources that will truly impact ACCORD and the communities we serve.”
