Everyone in the community is invited to attend the ceremony at Veterans Memorial Park!!

From Hornell Partners for Growth,

This milestone represents only one phase of a larger effort to enhance and preserve Veterans Memorial Park, but it is a significant and highly visible accomplishment, one that we are especially proud to complete on the eve of America’s 250th Birthday celebration.

Over the past several months, the Veterans Wall project has progressed through numerous phases, including site preparation, construction of the wall structure, installation of the stone veneer, and the careful placement of memorial lettering. What began as an idea has truly become a community endeavor.

This project would not have been possible without the dedication of volunteers, veterans, local organizations, businesses, donors, and residents who generously contributed their time, talents, and resources. A special recognition is extended to Henry “Heinz” Pollinger, whose research, coordination, and leadership were instrumental in bringing this vision to life from concept through completion.

We invite all community members, veterans, families, and supporters to join us as we celebrate this important addition to Veterans Memorial Park and honor those who have served our nation.
