Timeline of closure is depends on rainfall

Please be advised that County Road #4 bridge over the Genesee River in the Town of Hume will be closed to traffic on the following days to allow the contractor to place concrete for the new bridge deck: November 10, 16, and 23. If it rains any of these days, the bridge will be closed the following day. Messaging boards on each side of the bridge will provide the most up-to-date information. The bridge will be opened each night once the concrete pour is complete.
There will not be an on-site detour and motorists are urged to seek alternate routes. Thank you for your cooperation.
