Elected Town Board members discuss concerns, ideas with constituents

The newly revived Community Development committee of the Wellsville Town Board held a successful public hearing at the Moose Lodge on June 3, 2026. Nic Gunning and Justine Dodaro of the Town Board provided background and information on the recent Economic Opportunity Study Report provided by Barth Consulting Group and welcomed community members to respond and share their hopes and ideas for the town.
Walking access and safety throughout the town was a major concern for residents as well as adding features to the park, facilitating outdoor activities year-round, and exploring options for public indoor spaces.
This town hall-style meeting serves as a starting point for future public engagement with plans in the works for a survey and additional public meetings.
