Xavier took first place and broke the school record in the 100m sprint today at the annual Wellsville Elk’s Spring Day track meet with a time of 11.12 seconds.
What a great day for Xavier and Coach G! Congratulations!!
What makes this extra special?
The previous record was set in 1977 by none other than our very own Coach Dean Giopulos!
And to add to how special this record is: Coach G’s dad held the record since 1946 before his son broke it in 1977 !
