Craig Braack will provide a presentation on Owls of the Genesee Valley at the next Tuesdays With Grace.  It is a timely presentation. According to Wildlife Rehabilitator, Susan Burlingame, she has recently received many calls and messages about Eastern Screech owls.

According to Susan, “these little owls are struggling to find prey in the deep snow during their typical nighttime hunts.” “ They are hungry and out hunting during the day. “They will find low spots to perch, often in the sun or some other source of warmth.” “They hunt voles and mice by listening carefully to movement under the snow.” “They are not heavy enough to dive through the deep snow like bigger owls.”

The presentation takes place at Grace United Church, 289 N. Main Street, Wellsville. A light lunch will be served at 12:30, followed by the program.  All are welcome.
