The autumn season will soon be here as the fall foliage begins to change in the Southern Tier: Just in time for local festivals. Check out some shots taken today and a look at some of the festivals coming up in the next few weeks.


This weekend Canaseraga kicks off the fall festival season with its 26th annual Fall Harvest Festival this Saturday and Sunday 9:30AM to 3PM. The Harvest Fest offers lots of food vendors, Music from RC Morris and Rusty Springs, the Canaseraga Idol singing competition, Hairy Women of Klipnocky contest, free kids’ games, silent auction, bake sale, car show, crafts and more. www.canaseragafestival.weebly.com or follow on social media.
Fall festivities continue next weekend (September 27th-28th) with the annual Naples Grape Festival in downtown Naples NY. Naples Grape Fest celebrates harvest season with live music, grape foods, arts and crafts showcase, grape pie eating contest and more. Learn more at: https://naplesgrapefest.org/

Also next weekend, Troupsburg hosts their Fall Festival Saturday, September 27th at 908 State Route 36. Vendors, basket raffles, hots and burgers and a Cruisin’ Time car show. Cohocton’s 60th annual Fall Foliage Festival is the weekend of October 4th and 5th downtown and on the Village greens. Parade on Saturday at noon. Live music in the gazebo, free horse wagon rides, food, crafts and “Fruits of the Press” wine tasting event all weekend. Antique Tractor,Car and Snowmobile Shows are Sunday at the Elementary School parking lot on Park Avenue. This year’s theme is “Diamond Jubilee Festival”. The 6th Annual Maple City Fall Festival is Saturday, October 11th from Noon to 6 PM in Downtown Hornell. Free for all ages. Music, caricatures, free balloon animals, horse drawn wagon rides on Main Street and Hakes Avenue, free kids play activities and more.
