Western New York Food 4 Paws, with the support of the Cuba Food Giant, presented the Council of Churches Food Pantry of Cuba with over 200 pounds of petfood for families experiencing financial hardship.  Claudia Little, Director of the Cuba Pantry stated, “We are grateful for this impressive donation which will help those we serve provide for their beloved pets.”  WNY Food 4 Paws is guided by the motto “Helping Families Stay Together, One Bowl at a Time” and works directly with manufacturers, pet supply stores, grocery stores and community partners to acquire pet food and other pet supplies.

These pet necessities are redistributed to established food pantries and pet food pantries in the Western New York counties of Erie, Niagara, Chautauqua and most recently in Allegany County, thanks to the Giant Food Marts in Cuba and Wellsville which have hosted donation barrels in their stores. All donations from these barrels will be given to local Allegany County food pantries including the most recent recipients – Genesee Food Pantry, the Rushford Food Pantry and the Council of Churches Food Pantry of Cuba.
