Scouting America and the American Legion honor the flag

Wellsville Troop 733, Scouting America, chartered by Trinity Lutheran Church participated in the Flag Day Ceremony hosted by Morrison Hayes Post 702 American Legion at the Wellsville Rod and Gun Club today.

Rees Baker, Troop 733’s Senior Patrol Leader, Robert Wade USAF Veteran  and Kris Green USAF Veteran & Post 702 2nd Vice Commander performed the 13 folds of the Flag Ceremony as the rest of Troop 733 stood in formation to their right.

Later in the Ceremony, a monstrous amount of retired US Flags were properly and respectfully burned.

Many thanks to Post 702 and Commander Yvonne Simmons for including Troop 733 in this solemn event
