Timothy J. “Tim” Colligan has announced his candidacy for the upcoming election to fill a two-year vacancy on the Wellsville Village Board. The election will be held November 3, 2026.
I currently serve on the Wellsville Village Board and previously served four terms on the Board under then Mayors Robert Gardner and Susan Goetschius respectively. My years of service have provided extensive experience in village government and a firsthand understanding of the responsibilities of serving the community.
I also served three terms on the David A. Howe Public Library Board, further contributing to the community through my service to the local library.
I retired from the former Air Preheater Company after 40 years of service. I also recently retired from Olney-Foust and Embser Funeral Homes and Cremation.
In addition to my service on the Village Board, I currently serve as Secretary of the Babcock Theatre Preservation Society Board, contributing to efforts to restore and preserve the historic Babcock Theatre and its place in the Wellsville communty.
I am is a 50-year member of Emerald Hook & Ladder Co., where I currently serves as Secretary. My five decades of involvement reflect a longstanding commitment to volunteer service and the Wellsville community.
I have received endorsements from both Democrats and Republicans for my candidacy which is a testament for my ability to work with both major parties.
“I am grateful for the opportunity to continue serving the Village of Wellsville, and I will continue to be a custodian of the fiscal priorities of the Village. I will listen to the residents of the Village and make informed decisions as necessary.”
My professional experience, service on the Village Board, and longstanding involvement in community organizations have given me a strong appreciation for responsible local government and community service.
I would appreciate your vote on Tuesday, November 3, 2026. Thank you.
