“A lengthy and thorough investigation” led to this arrest by New York State Police

New York State Police have reported that a “very serious crime” resulted in the arrest of Ryan J. Coble, age 51 for Sexual Conduct Against a Child, 2nd Degree by someone over 17 years of age with a victim 13 years old or younger, on July 11, 2026.
State Police Public Information Officer James O’Callahan confirmed that the investigation began on February 26, 2026. Bureau of Criminal Investigations proceeded to conduct lengthy and thorough investigation over five months which included interviews, digital forensics, and other evidence to make the arrest.
Coble was arrested and remanded to the Allegany County Jail on July 11 and released on July 15 after pleading not-guilty and posting bail, according to the Allegany County Sheriff.
To date Coble has appeared in Allegany County Court three additional times and is scheduled to appear again before Judge Parker on Monday October 5th.
