Cuba Dairy Days parade was a big success

Every June communities across New York State celebrate Dairy Month by recognizing the people, products and traditions that keep the dairy industry moving forward.
In Allegany County, the Town of Cuba celebrates Cuba Dairy Days to honor the village’s history as a “Cheese Center of the World” in the late 1800s. Cuba Dairy Days is a free, family friendly summer festival and event highlights include a parade down Main Street. This year the parade was held on June 13, 2026.
Allegany County Farm Bureau participated in the parade, entering a float highlighting the local dairy products. For their efforts they were awarded a 3rd place trophy and cash award.
