Linda C. JONES, 71, of Scio, NY, died Thursday, May 28, 2026, in her home.
Born April 30, 1955, in Cuba, she was the daughter of Donald and Anna Mae Coyle Webster. She was a 1973 graduate of Scio High School.
Linda worked at the Unemployment Office in Wellsville out of high school. She then became a homemaker as well as running her own day care. While living in Macomb, Illinois, she worked as a manager of a Salvation Army Thrift Store in Macomb, Illinois. Linda raised her children in Illinois and after living there for 45 years, she returned to Scio.
Linda loved to cook, play bingo, and take care of children.
Surviving are: a daughter, Hope (Ray Jr.) Hale of Florida; four sons, Brent (Melissa) Jones, John Krzyzaniak, Jr., Matthew (Sarah) Krzyzaniak, and Christopher Decker, all of Macomb, IL; her bonus children, Tracy (Larry) Lunn, Chrissy White, and Frankie White; 14 grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; two sisters, Raina (Tony) Windus of Belmont and Wendy (Scott) Harris of Scio, a brother, George Webster of Scio; a brother-in-law, Frank White of Scio; several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents, two brothers, Robert Webster and Danny Webster; three sisters, Dawn White, Debbie Dees, and Robin Smith; a sister-in-law, Becky Webster; a grandson, John Krzyzaniak III; and Sam Wood, who Linda took care of for many years.
