The Wellsville softball team racked up more wins against larger schools, then defeated Northern Potter as they finish the week off with Senior Night today.
The Lions will celebrate Senior Night (Saturday, May 16 at 1:45 p.m.) on a busy day as the track teams celebrated before Spring Day.
At Tullar Field today, Wellsville hosts Class A Our Lady of Mercy at 2 p.m. and then Cuba-Rushford, 5 p.m.
Wellsville is 12-2, ranked No. 1 in media polls and sitting second in the Section V seeding behind Mynderse (17-0).

Kennedy Perry was the winning pitcher, striking out 12 and giving up no walks and just two hits. Hannah Bennetta and Peyton Cawley were the catchers in the gem.
For Pittsford Mendon (9-7), the No. 2 ranked team in Section V Class AA and third in the standings, Quinn Sargent struck out two and walked one.
Wellsville had 14 hits on the day.
