Early morning fire in Scio NY draws large response, home a total loss

From Scio Fire Department,

At 2:50 am, we were dispatched to County Road 31 for a reported structure fire.

When 502 arrived on location it was confirmed to be a working fire, that was fully involved. Friendship fire was requested for a fill site at the dry hydrant on 31. Wellsville was requested as mutual aid along with belmont for pumper and man power. Wellsville 3 was requested for a standby crew in our quarters.

Thank you to Wellsville 3’s crew for helping us get all trucks and equipment back into service. Great work to all personnel and crews on scene, and thanks for all mutual aid.
