Vice President Kris Green: This program is truly a win-win for both our patients and our associates

Jones Memorial Hospital announced the recent launch of its new recognition program – WE CARE Champion. This program will highlight and recognize outstanding associates across the organization who exemplify the organization’s WE CARE values – Wellness, Empathy, Commitment, Accountability, Respect and Excellence. This unique program allows any staff member to be recognized by anyone – staff, patient or community member.
The Jones Memorial WE CARE Champion is defined as any associate who demonstrates an exemplary commitment to the Jones Memorial mission, commitment to coworkers, and Code of Conduct in one or more of the following ways:
- Considers first the well-being of our patients by demonstrating compassion and caring
- Conducts all interactions with patients, visitors, employees, physicians, volunteers, and any other individual in a courteous, honest and respectful manner
- Always demonstrates ethical and professional behavior while anticipating and resolving customer issues
- Shows a true commitment to coworkers
Cierra Dean, Clinical Supervisor of Obstetrics and the Employer of Choice Committee (EOCC) Chair stated “our ultimate goal in implementing the WE CARE Champion Recognition program, is to create a culture of recognition and appreciation that motivates associates to deliver exceptional care and service, ultimately enhancing patient and customer experiences.”
Kris Green, VP of Human Resources, explained further, “This program is truly a win-win for both our patients and our associates by promoting a culture of excellence and reinforcing our commitment to high quality care. We’re excited to roll this out and are open to any feedback from the community.”
To nominate an associate as a WE CARE Champion, simply scan a QR code located throughout the hospital, in your exam room or at checkout. You will be directed to a form right on your phone with a few simple questions. Answer the questions, submit the form and that’s it! Nominations will be reviewed by a committee quarterly to recognize a winner who will receive an award, program t-shirt, and designated parking space.
