The Belmont American Legion Post 808 organizes holiday honor for Amity gravesites

From the local Wreaths Across America Committee,

On Saturday, December 13th at noon the Belmont Legion Family Wreaths Across America Committee is inviting community members and those with veterans buried in the Forest Hills Cemetery or the St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery to take part in the wreath laying ceremony honoring those who have served our country. It is with great pride that the Wreaths Across America Committee has taken part in this nationwide event for the past three years.

This year, as a result of fundraising efforts and the generosity of so many patriotic donors, a total of 530 wreaths will be placed upon the graves of our service men and women in our six cemeteries. Following the placement of the wreaths, participants are welcome to warm themselves with refreshments at the Belmont American Legion.

On behalf of all those we will honor, as well as those who continue to serve our country, the Belmont Legion Family Wreaths Across America Committee is so very grateful for your service.
