Scio, NY — Scio Hometown Heroes is proud to announce that Wreaths Across America Day will be held at Fairlawn Cemetery in Scio, New York on Saturday, December 13, 2025, at 2:30 PM. This annual event is part of the national Wreaths Across America program, which honors and remembers veterans by placing wreaths on the graves of those who served.
Wreaths Across America is a nationwide effort dedicated to ensuring that no veteran is forgotten during the holiday season. Each ceremony includes a moment of remembrance, the placement of wreaths, and a commitment to teaching future generations the value of freedom and service.
“Scio Hometown Heroes is honored to bring this meaningful tradition to our community this year,” the organization said. “We invite all residents, families, and veterans to join us as we pay tribute to the men and women who bravely served our country.”
The public is encouraged to attend and participate in the ceremony. Volunteers, families, and community members will help place wreaths throughout Fairlawn Cemetery following the formal program.
