No cost family support and learning on Main Street Wellsville

The First Step Family Resource Center in Wellsville has announced its program schedule for the week of December 1 through December 5, offering a variety of free activities and support services for local families. The center, located at 83 North Main Street, Wellsville, continues to provide early-childhood programming, caregiver support, and hands-on learning opportunities for young children.
Weekly Schedule
Monday, December 1
- Family Support Services: 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
- Sensory-Friendly Open Play: 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Featuring Squishy Hats Sensory Bags
Tuesday, December 2
- Parent Café: 9:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.
- Dolly Parton Imagination Library Storytime & Play: 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
- Family Support Services: 12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Wednesday, December 3
- Open Family Play: 9:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.
Includes a sock-matching activity for developing fine motor skills
Thursday, December 4
- Family Support Services: 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.
- Arts & Crafts: 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Friday, December 5

Support Services Available by Appointment
Family Support Services are available throughout the week by appointment. Families in need of assistance can schedule a session by calling 585-803-4526.

The First Step Family Resource Center is a program of Ardent Solutions in collaboration with the Allegany County Early Childhood Coalition. Programs are designed to strengthen families, support early learning, and provide a safe, nurturing space for children and caregivers.
