Main Street Wellsville Holiday light celebration begins Novemeber 29
From the Jingle & Glow Committee,
WELLSVILLE, NY — The Jingle & Glow Committee is proud to announce Voni Walker of Walker Business and Staffing Services as the Presenting Illumination Sponsor for the inaugural Jingle & Glow holiday light celebration.
Walker, who has built her business around serving customers with care and integrity, extends that same commitment to her community. Through sponsorships, outreach, and giving back, she believes in supporting efforts that bring people together and strengthen local traditions and the preservation of history.
“I have always loved Christmas,” said Voni. “This first event is so important in bringing our communities together and celebrating in ways we have lost over time. Having in-person, shared cultural experiences like Jingle & Glow is what we all need, and what a wonderful way to do this around the joy of the Christmas season.”
Headquartered in Wellsville, with additional offices in Olean, NY and Bradford, PA, Walker Business and Staffing Services, led by Voni Walker, has been in this area for more than 33 years, providing temporary staffing and direct placement services to businesses in the Southern Tier of New York.
“We are honored to have Voni and Walker Business and Staffing Services join us. Her enthusiasm for the season and her belief in community spirit, perfectly capture what Jingle and Glow is all about. Along with her help, and that of our other sponsors and donors, we are bringing magic to the Village in a way that will light up hearts as well as lights” said Jackie Comstock, chair of the committee. All proceeds from this event will support the non-profit Thelma Rogers Genealogical Historical Society of Wellsville.
The Jingle & Glow Lighting Ceremony at the Fassett Green Space will take place at 4 p.m. on Friday, November 29, as part of the Wellsville Area Chamber of Commerce’s Hometown Celebration Parade. Voni Walker will have the honor of turning on the lights when Santa makes his much-anticipated visit, officially illuminating the holiday season in Wellsville.
Running from November 29 – January 4, Jingle & Glow promises to become a cherished local tradition, uniting families, friends, and neighbors in a festive celebration of light, community, and history.
