From the Republican challenger for the NY-23 Congressional Seat

Nick Langworthy, in his taxpayer funded October 19th “Weekly Update”, wrote:
“But as I’ve said all along, this debate isn’t about healthcare. It’s about catering to the “No Kings” resist crowd that hates President Trump and wants him to fail no matter what. It’s the same group of extremists that can’t give him credit for ending wars, returning hostages, lowering gas prices, or cutting taxes on working class Americans. They just want to obstruct …”.
If true, based on credible estimates, somewhere between 4.8 and 7 million Americans are extremists on whom a crown wearing King Donald drops feces from a fighter plane. Extremists who exercised their right “… peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances”.
In response to correspondence Langworthy often writes: “Although we may not see eye to eye on this issue, I appreciate hearing your concerns. Rest assured I am committed to upholding the Constitution …”. Labeling nearly 2% of America’s population engaged in peaceful protest as extremists seems not only hypocritical, but a marked lack of appreciation.
In deflecting the debate from healthcare to people with whom he disagrees, Langworthy is avoiding accountability.. He is hiding. He voted for H.R. 1 (the “Big Beautiful Bill”). The healthcare consequences of H.R. 1 are just beginning to show.
