Nursing students help out with the The Joyce Food Pantry

On October 29, nine Alfred State Senior Nursing students along with Assistant Professor of Nursing, Breanna Willson, lent a hand at the Joyce Family Food Pantry and Outreach in Wellsville.
As part of Alfred’s program, students are required to participate in civic community action. The group even produced a tri-fold brochure to distribute to clients titled, “You’re Not Alone: Community Resources and Assistance.” The group helped stock the pantry, sort clothing and rearrange storage space under the guidance of Mary Ann Newark, Pantry Service Representative.
