Assemblyman Joe Sempolinski presented $20,000 in unrestricted state aid to Whitesville  Central School Superintendent Tammy Emery Wednesday during a talk with sixth-grade students in Teacher Amy Brundage’s class.

Whitesville Central is a place where this money will have a true impact and go the furthest.”

Superintendent Emery said the district will put the $20,000 from Assemblyman Sempolinski to good use.
“We are grateful to Assemblyman Sempolinski for visiting Whitesville Central School to speak with our sixth graders,” Superintendent Emery said. “His passion for both history and helping children made this an exciting opportunity for our students. “I don’t work for anyone in Albany, I work for my constituents, like the students at Whitesville Central School, their parents and their teachers and staff at the school,” Assemblyman Sempolinski said. “My job is to represent them and do whatever I can to help them. I’m grateful to be in a position to provide Whitesville Central School with this $20,000 for student programs.”
