Giving grants to Public Libraries!

Southern Tier public libraries get a big boost from a great friend

From the FSTL,

This year the Foundation for Southern Tier Libraries awarded $19,188 in grants to 17 libraries in the Southern Tier Library System. In the spring we met for supper, presentations about their 2024 projects and to distribute 2025 checks. What’s better than an evening in a room full of librarians? Giving them money!

You can be part of the Foundation’s good work! Join yourself or recommend others. We work best when we have active Board members representing the five counties we serve.

Each year the Foundation Board invites grant applications from libraries in Allegany, Chemung, Schuyler, Steuben, Yates counties, makes awards, and conducts mail fundraising campaigns. We are an entirely volunteer 501(c)3 organization.
