Wellsville based travel softball squad is dominating the Metro League this summer

From the Dawgs,

The Dawgs take control of first place in the Metro league

The Dawgs were deadlocked with Lancaster 1-1 into the top of the 5th inning until Rylees Whiting (2 hits) executed on a slash bunt and Morghyn Ross crushed a 3-run homer into the right center gap. The end result was a 8-1 Dawgs victory. 

  Brynn Hallock continued her strong softball summer recording 2 hits including a double and striking out 11 in the circle. Leena Sliwa (Forestville) contributed 3 hits to spark the dawgs. The Dawgs were helped by a strong catching performance by Nicole Youngberg and Morghyn Ross behind the plate.

HOLEVINSKI LEADS THE DAWGS TO VICTORY

Lillian Holevinski led the Dawgs with 4 hits on the day and was solid defensively behind the plate as the Team rolled to a 9-0 victory over Niagara Wheatfield Nitro.

Teagan Burke chipped in with 4 hits while Morghyn Ross (3 hits)crushed a 2-run homer. Rylee Whiting contributed to the cause with 4 hits including a triple and Jayna Thomas scored 5 runs. Hannah Powers had 3 hits and Fanton had two hits.

The Dawgs run their Metro League record to 8-0 this summer.
