The Dawgs down Lake Shore Eclipse 8-6
The Dawgs 18u softball team jumped out early and held off the Eclipse in Metro League action.
Nicole Youngberg, Rylee Whiting, Hannah Powers, Charli Ross, and Teagan Burke each contributed one hit apiece. In the circle, Rylee Whiting and Haley Mascho combined to strike out 6 and allow 0 earned runs.
Mascho and Hallock power the Dawgs to victory.
Brynn Hallock homered and had 3 rbi while Haley Mascho blasted a bases loaded double that cleared the bases. Rylee Whiting and Teagan Burke (triple) both had 3 hits to pace the offense. Lillian Holevinski and Nicole Youngberg each chipped in with 2 hits apiece and both made sparkling defensive plays. Hannah Powers started in the circle and picked up the victory.
