Veterans eat free thanks to the Allegany County Dwyer Veterans Program!

The Friends of the David A. Howe Public Library are having a Fly-In, Drive-In, Walk-In Pancake Breakfast on Sunday, June 22nd from 8:00a.m.-12:30p.m. at the Wellsville Municipal Airport, 2600 Tarantine Rd. Please join us for a delicious breakfast of pancakes, eggs, sausage, coffee and juice! The cost is $10 per person and children 8 and under can eat for free. The Friends will also have library merchandise available for sale plus tickets for their Gift Card Tree valued at over $250 which will be drawn on July 19th. All proceeds benefit the summer reading program, auditorium events, books, and technology at our beloved library.
Veterans! Please join us at the Fly-In Breakfast Fundraiser of the Friends of the David A. Howe Library. The AC Dwyer program will cover the cost of your meal, and those of your immediate family members. Please pre-register to help us prepare!
Participation Procedure
Our program will pay for the meal of any Veterans and their immediate families, hopefully adding to an already great cause. We would appreciate if Veterans would pre-register online at https://www.alleganyco.gov/event/fly-in-breakfast-veteran-and-family-event/, but it isn’t required.
To be eligible for participation, you only need to have served in the military, any branch, and have a DD214 (or equivalent) from your service. Whether one day or fifty years, service counts and makes you eligible for participation.
