NOTICE OF SPECIAL MEETING TOWN OF SCIO, NEW YORK

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a Special Meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Scio, New York will be held at the Scio Town Hall, located at 4355 County Road 10, in the Town of Scio, New York on the 21st day of May 2025 commencing at 6:00 PM. The purposes for which this Special Meeting is held are the following:
1. to allow representatives from the Golden Finch Fields Solar Project to make a presentation to the Town Board regarding the proposed Solar Project;
2. to introduce for consideration an Introductory Solar Energy Local Law for the Town of Scio;
3. to consider the adoption of a resolution to increase the annual salary of the current Town Justice;
4. to discuss the possibility of hiring a Company to perform weed killing services for the Town of Scio’s Highway Department;
5. to consider appointing a town resident to temporarily fill the vacancy in the office of Town of Scio Town Clerk; and
6. to consider any other matters that may properly come before the town board of the Town of Scio. Dated: Town of Scio, New York
