The David A. Howe Library is excited to host two nights of live music in the Nancy Howe Auditorium before the end of May.

The first concert, on Friday, May 16, will feature Emma Tyme on piano and guitar. Emma is a talented local singer-songwriter who has performed at the library regularly over the years. She is deeply connected with the local farming community and her songs often reflect that connection.

The Deneckes

The Deneckes, a celestial folk duo from Andover, will perform on Friday, May 30. Their newest album, “blue & gold,” was released in January and the library is excited to host them as they continue promoting its release. Hannah’s vocals blend seamlessly with the tunes she and her husband, Eli, perform.

Doors open around 6:30 p.m. with a show start time of 7 p.m. Both shows are free and open to the public thanks to funding from the Statewide Community Regrants Program, a regrant program of the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of the Office of the Governor and the New York State Legislature and administered in Wyoming and Allegany counties by the Arts Council for Wyoming County, and support from the Wellsville community.
