Allegany Artisans Launch 2025 Gallery Show at David A. Howe Public Library

Wellsville, NY — The Allegany Artisans are proud to announce their upcoming gallery show at the David A. Howe Public Library in Wellsville, NY, opening May 12, 2025. This curated exhibition will highlight the exceptional craftsmanship and artistic diversity of artisans working across Allegany County.

Known for their celebrated annual studio tour, the Allegany Artisans represent a wide range of media, including ceramics, fiber arts, woodwork, blown glass, metal, jewelry, photography, fine painting, paper and book arts. The library show offers a unique opportunity to experience these works in one central location, ahead of the fall tour season.

Visitors will enjoy a striking variety of handmade works that reflect the spirit of rural artistry and creative tradition. Many of the participating artists will be available at a special reception on Friday May 23 from 6-8pm to discuss their work and connect with the community.

“We’re excited to showcase the incredible talent found right here in Allegany County,” said Becky, president and organizer. “This exhibit is a beautiful preview of what visitors can expect during our October Studio Tour.”

The exhibit will be on view from May 12 – June 27th in the main gallery of the David A. Howe Public Library, located at 155 N. Main Street in Wellsville. Admission is free and open to the public during library hours.
