Donna Sue Clarke (née Elderkin), age 71, passed away peacefully on April 5, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born on September 3, 1953, to Otto and Shirley (Post) Elderkin.
Donna was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Steven Elderkin, and her sister Beverly Littler. She is survived by her loving siblings: Ella Smith, Leo Elderkin, Eric Elderkin, Janet Burroughs, Barbara Callen, and Anne Stewart. She also leaves behind her many nieces, nephews, and extended family who will cherish her memory.
Donna found joy in sitting on the porch with the family dog watching the birds and playing games. She enjoyed margaritas, playing poker with her family, and visiting the casino.
Donna touched the lives of many and will be deeply missed.
There will not be a visitation, though a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made in Donna’s memory to Lakeland Area Hospice in Erie, PA, in appreciation of their compassionate care during her final journey.
