Smith has been accepted into RIT’s 3+3 Law Program

Eleanor Smith, daughter of Kelly and Stephen Smith, will be recognized as the 2025 salutatorian at Bolivar-Richburg’s graduation ceremony on June 29, 2025, with a cumulative grade point average of 97.85%.
Eleanor’s academic awards and honors include: Top Honors in English, College Literary Studies, Spanish III, Global History and Geography, Advanced Art, Health, and Yearbook. Eleanor was selected as a HOBY Leadership Ambassador. She is a National Honor Society member and will graduate with 33 college credits. She has also received the Superintendent’s Award and high honor roll throughout high school. She devotes her spare time to tutoring local elementary and international students in English. She enjoys art and photography, including capturing B-R athletic teams and events. She also loves reading, writing, and spending time with family.
Eleanor is actively involved in a variety of extracurricular activities. She currently serves as treasurer of Student Council and editor of the yearbook, and she is a former class president. She has also participated in the International Travel Club and Science Club.
Eleanor plans to attend Rochester Institute of Technology and major in political science and cybersecurity. She has been accepted into RIT’s 3+3 Law Program in conjunction with Syracuse University College of Law and the University at Buffalo School of Law. Eleanor has been awarded the RIT Presidential Scholarship and the RIT Art and Design Award.
