From Stone for Trustee,
Andover, NY – Michael “Mike” Stone has declared his candidacy to represent the village of Andover as Trustee in the upcoming November election.
A resident of Western New York since 2005 and living in Andover since 2019, Mike has been employed in the ITS Department of Alfred University for the past 19 years. During that time, he has endeavored to be an active member of the community; volunteering and hosting free seminars helping residents learn how to protect their digital security footprint.
In addition to Mike’s work for AU, he has started a sole proprietorship, “RCS Andover” providing computer solutions for local businesses including Gaylord Guns & Ammo, Baker-Swan Funeral Home, Walker Metalsmiths Celtic Jewelry, and the Allegany County Historical Society.
This will be Mike’s first campaign to run for public office.
“From the moment I bought my first home in Andover, I fell in love with this village and the community. I look forward to serving all my neighbors by bringing my organizational skills, technical aptitude, and ability to find out-of-the-box solutions to the table. Most of all, what I am eager to do is listen and learn. We all have issues that affect us right here at our doorstep, and I welcome the opportunity to approach those issues with my heart and my ears wide open.”
Mike resides in Andover Village with his wife, Jennifer Stone.
