January 2 fire destroyed a multi-family apartment building

A lot has happened since the night of the Depot St fire, and there is still a long road ahead as families begin anew. A huge thank you from the many organizations and individuals who collected relief to the community and everyone who gave of their time, talent, and treasure. Not only did prayers and material goods flow into the relief effort but over $45,000 was raised and distributed directly to the families.
At United Church our prayer is that the Friendship community will build off this energy and continue to lift each other up no matter what we may disagree on we all love this town and it’s people.
