A Wellsville group formed with a simple mission: Walking together to improve mental health. The Battling Mind Striders organized to bring awareness to mental health struggles and demonstrate the benefits of just walking with others for exercise. That organized effort has been popular and is now working to establish a scholarship for a student who has “overcome mental or physical challenges.” A fundraising dinner is planned for March 9 in Wellsville.

For just $10 you can eat well, a spaghetti dinner with all the fixings, and contribute to this scholarship. The dinner is take out only and tickets are on sale in Wellsville at the Hart Comfort House, Catholic Charities, the Wellsville American Legion, STEL, CLARITY, and Community Services.
