“With the impending retirement of the current Judge, I have made the decision to pursue the position of Allegany County Court Judge. Over the last 15 years my career has provided me with precisely the experience necessary to step into that role with the knowledge and background needed to be effective in the position.
From my time in private practice, where I predominantly focused on civil cases, to my years spent in Family Court as an Assistant County Attorney, and of course in my current role as Allegany County District Attorney, my career has given me the experience crucial to the judge role.
In recent years we have seen a drastic shift in the legal landscape in New York State, with laws such as Bail Reform, Discovery Reform, and others. In the years to come, I believe we will continue to see a changing legal landscape in New York State. During this time, it is essential that we have a judge that possesses a deep understanding of our laws, and that respects our community values. In that regard, I am humbly asking for your confidence and to be your next Allegany County Court Judge.”
