Learn a little about Shaut, a Medical Technologist in the JMH lab for 15 years
From Jones Memorial Hospital,
“Debra has worked at Jones for 15 years and much of it as the Lead Hematology Medical Technologist. Debra was selected for not only her dedication and commitment to Jones but to her co-workers, and our patients. Her duties included ensuring accuracy in reporting all Hematology, Coagulation and Urinalysis test results. This sound simple, but entails performing and monitoring QC, monitoring for Trends, variations in QC results, and maintenance to ensuring the analyzers were performing accurately. Debra is always willing to step up and help where needed, whether covering a department or even another shift so co-workers can take vacation. Debra’s faithful commitment and dedication makes her such an asset to our department.” – Elaine Austin, Lab Manager
