Brooklyn Dahlgren wins High Jump in Houghton

From Wellsville Secondary School Athletics,

HOUGHTON (1-11-25)– The Wellsville Indoor Track and Field program competed at Houghton College with the RWTL South Division on Friday night.

Notable finishes for Wellsville were:

Kaylee Oswald set a new school (Indoor) record in the Shot Put with a 1st-place throw of 42’-2.25”

Brooklyn Dahlgren: 1st in High Jump 4’-9”

Piper Metro: 2nd in High Jump 4’-6”

Sarah Mattison: 2nd in Weight Throw 32’-6.25”

Makenna Cooke: 3rd in Weight Throw 27’-10”

Collin’s Perkins: 3rd in 1000 run 3:08.11 and 6th in the 1600 run 5:16.21

Kaylee Oswald not only placed first with a 42’-0.25” throw in the shot put she also set a new meet record the old one being 39’ set in 2020.
