Carol-Lynn Dubovi, educator for over thirty-five years, to present at the Eldred WWII Museum

Eldred, PA – , Carol-Lynn Dubovi, Special Education teacher at the Seneca Valley School District and, WWII History buff will present at the Museum next Sunday.
Dubovi will present on January 19, 2025 at 1:30pm in the Museum’s Mitchell Paige Hall. The event is free and open to the public.
Dubovi’s presentation, “Voices from The Holocaust,” an interactive exhibit, that invites participants to not only learn about the past but also to consider how these lessons shape our action and values in the present. Dubovi encourages participants to begin their journey with an independent exploration of her exhibits which feature artifacts, photographs, and documents from the Holocaust in Poland. Which then will be followed by a time of discussion, questions, and reflection.
Carol-Lynn has traveled to England, France, Belgium, Washington D.C., Eldred, PA, and New Orleans to study and learn about WWII and the Holocaust. Last summer, Dubovi participated in a travel seminar to Poland with Classrooms Without Borders to learn about the Holocaust.
Traveling with the teachers was Holocaust survivor Howard Chandler, who offered a unique firsthand account of the perils and atrocities Polish Jews endured. To honor the stories of the people of the Holocaust that Dubovi encountered, she created her interactive exhibit and presentation.
