Cline was a Emergency Services Dispatcher for the Allegany County Sheriff’s Office

The family of Chantel Cline has established a scholarship in her memory.  Chantel passed away unexpectedly on March 9, 2024.

Chantel was a member of Angelica Central School’s last graduating class (1996) and a graduate of Corning Community College. She had been with the Allegany County Sheriff’s Office, where she was a highly regarded Emergency Services Dispatcher, since 2009.

This new scholarship will assist a Genesee Valley Central School senior or graduate pursuing a career in a criminal justice related field.

The first Chantel Cline Memorial Scholarship will be awarded in spring 2025 for the 2025-2026 academic year.

Founded in 1983, the Allegany County Area Foundation manages 95 funds that support students with scholarships, and communities through grants to not-profit organizations.
