The food scene in Allegany County is having quite a post pandemic rebound. Wellsville’s food service economy is in the middle of a growth spurt of both new investment and brand new operations.
That trend seems to be growing in Allegany County with these exciting new kitchens opening in Bolivar and Friendship:
Southern Tier ALIVE is now serving up and experience on 10 West Main Street in Friendship NY. Chef Ruben Santiago has re-emerged with a new concept after making a name with his food at places like “The Bistro,” in Cuba and “The Duke House,” in Wellsville. Santiago is well-known for bringing diverse recipes and bolder flavors than the average Allegany County menu. Here is the menu and what was on special for Saturday November 16:

The new place in Bolivar is a surprise of sorts!! Authentic Mexican food: Breakfast, lunch, and dinner!! We can’t find any information online about the place except these rave reviews:
