No matter where you live, taking the walk up the driveway and to the steps of the Pink House on Halloween is the highlight of the night during trick-or-treating.
Since painting the Pink House, the Woelfel family has invested more and more each season on decorating for the holidays. Halloween falls into that category.
But this year, the family is giving out two awards: cutest costume and scariest costume.
All you have to do is take a photo in front of the Pink House on Halloween and tage @pinkhousewellsville on Instagram.
If you can’t tag on Instagram, no worries! Kristy Woelfel will be dressed as the Pink House witch and she can take your photo and get your contact information.
Winners will receive a Halloween-related item and … more candy. As Jay Woelfel says, “Who doesn’t need more candy?”
Jay said the family enjoys how many families make the Pink House part of their Halloween tradition.
“So many people come to the house so we wanted to add a little more to the experience,” he said. “It’s also about the honor of winning and the spirit of the season.”
