CUBA, NY – The annual Deschfest fundraiser returns Oct. 25 at The Palmer Opera House in Cuba, NY, with its HALLOWEEN-O-RAMA event. This year’s event, a Halloween party and concert, will feature local alternative music and Halloween fun while raising funds for research at Roswell Park and supporting local music education through Beat City Music.

Event Highlights:

  •  Musical Lineup:
    • The Rhino Chasers (surf rock from the Great Lakes)
    • Dredneks (Olean’s eclectic, rootsy hard rock)
    • Spooky Visions (Solo synth punk)
    • Marrissey (One-man tribute to The Smiths)
    • DJ Brando Calrissian (Vinyl DJ)
  • Egg Prize Raffle:: A unique raffle concept where attendees buy candy-filled Halloween eggs, with some containing prizes.
  • Family-Friendly Activities: Early portion from 5-7 pm catering to younger attendees
  • Costume Contests and Games: Campy, creepy fun for all ages

Since its inception in 2017, Deschfest has raised over $20,000 for local charities and individuals in need. The event honors the memory of Cuba native Zach Deschler, who passed away from brain cancer in 2016, celebrating his passion for music, community, and now, the Halloween season.
