Felony charges for drugs, weapons, stolen property, criminal nuisance

Wellsville Police arrested Joseph A. Anderson, age 36 of Wellsville, charging him with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 2nd (Class A Felony), Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd (Class B Felony), Aggravated Criminal Possession of a Weapon (Class C Felony), Criminal Possession of a Weapon 3rd – Firearm with a previous conviction (Class D Felony), Criminal Possession of Stolen Property 4th (Class E Felony) and Maegan Rix, age 32 of Wellsville, charging her with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 2nd (Class A Felony), Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd (Class B Felony) and Criminal Nuisance 1st (Class E Felony). The charges stem from the execution of a search warrant at 105 Early Street in the Village of Wellsville. Anderson and Rix were processed, and transported to the Allegany County Jail pending arraignment in CAP Court. Anderson and Rix are due to appear in Wellsville Village Court at a later date.
