Wellsville’s only independently owned and operated “DIY Headquarters” has lots of great news to share this month. Owners best known as “Dan and Butch” are on a customer rewards rampage lately:

Tom Dannahiem wins the monthly $100 Customer Appreciation Prize which anyone can enter in the store each month and no purchase is necessary.

October is Fire Prevention Month and not only is Fassett selling all fire safety products at 10%, they are giving away a Smoke/Carbon Monoxide Detector every week this month. The team at Fassett takes pride in the quality lumber that they sell local builders and homeowners, and helping keep those investments safe.

Fassett Lane has also been rewarding customers with a new “Shop Local” monthly drawing. On top of the $100, on top of the free fire safety give-a-way, Fassett hands a customer $50 each month to spend at another local small business. Dan Peters and Butch Calcote are 100% committed to the idea that our small business are interdependent of each other and they want to foster that notion.

This month they picked a real dandy out of the box. Leonard Capizzi walked out of the store with fifty bucks in Pizza King money. We asked Leonard a few things about Fassett Lane, his big win, and that famous Pizza King pie. Let’s just say that Leonard was “tickled pink” about winning and explained that this wasn’t his first free Pizza King pizza. Here is our quick interview:

How long have you been a Fassett Lane customer?

“We moved here over 35 years ago and I’ve been shopping at Fassett Lane ever since. Those boys have always treated me well and have always been fair to deal with. We recently built a nice pergula and they were a big help finding the right lumber. The staff are nice and they give reliable advice.”

You won some Pizza King bucks, how do you like that their pizza ?

“Oh I’ve been eating their pizza forever and this isn’t my first free Pizza King pizza!! Years back when Pete(Giovanniello) was just getting started we both did some farming on our land. One day he got hurt pretty bad with some barb wire and he called for some help. I drove my tractor and equipment over to get his hay field finished up while he recovered. I don’t think Pete charged me for pizza for awhile after that!!”

What do you think about winning free pizza after a trip to the hardware store?

“What a great idea. These guys are thinking bigger than just thier operation and that is what makes this town such a great place! They sure have my support and business!!”
